Not much going on right now.  Yesterday I went over to Scott & Anna’s and worked on scrapbooking with Anna, then after dinner we went to Target to get a few things.  I was sad I didn’t have my camera with me, because me and Anna wore hard hats into the store, and me and Scott wore neon yellow vests (all of these were in Scott’s work truck, since he’s a land surveyor).  After that we played “Imaginiff”, which can be very entertaining….dung beetle….hahahaha!

Right now I’m at the library, catching up on news from Israel (compliments of israelnationalnews.com) and trying to catch up on xanga.  Oh, on the way here I almost got caught in the middle of a gang fight, or at least that’s what I think it was….the joys of living in Denver.  Oh, and I have no hot water in my apartment today….don’t know why, and hope they fix it soon…until then all I have is extremely cold water.  fun fun.

Shalom alechem!

Tidbits

The Bristols were in town from Jerusalem this weekend and spoke at shul, which was great.  I’m excited about all that G-d is doing in their lives….

Last night I ended up going over to the McDowells to watch a movie with Lynne and Kim Coulter.  It was “Life Is Beautiful”, an Italian movie (with English subtitles, of course) that is a fictional account of a man during the Holocaust who makes the experience into a game for his young son to try to help him survive…..I know, it sounds strange, but it really was a good movie.  My description definately doesn’t do it justice.

Right now I’m at the Stewarts, waiting for them to get home from the Messiah Conference.  I have no clue what time they’re supposed to get back, but I figure I’ll stick around for a while more.  Afterall, once they get back I’ll be headed home, where I don’t have the internet, so I figure I should enjoy it while I can.

Oh, and it’s still raining….I love the rain, and we’ve had rain all this past week….and not just a little shower here and there, but huge downpours!  I’m so happy!

I went over to the Youngs yesterday, hung out, had dinner, then got to join them in their evening worship time….did some p&w, then read together out of scripture, then prayed together.  I was glad to be there.

Nothingness

I’ve had several people inquire as to why I haven’t posted lately.  The answer is simple.  For starters, my lack of regular internet access… and when I do have it, I’m busy trying to catch up on email and reading my xanga subscriptions.  Secondly, not much is going on in my life….I’m just sort of ‘maintaining’, not really doing anything new or exciting.  About the most exciting thing in my life lately was my barely being able to breathe the last few days, from what I think is a mixture of a cold and allergies to the cat I’m watching for a couple while they’re out of town.  I’m trying to figure out how I’m gonna get through the next four days, but at least I know I’ll be out of the house for shul, so that will give my system at least some breaks.  Oh, and I’m watching fireworks out the window right now…I can see part of a professional show going on above the trees.  You may be confused, since it is the 5th of July now, and U.S.A.’s Independence Day was yesterday, but our area had a massive thunderstorm last night, complete with tornado warnings, so the show was postponed until tonight.
So there you have it.  I’m not dead or anything, so that’s good.  I have no clue when I’ll post again, maybe the rest of my summer will be more exciting and I’ll actually have something to post about…but don’t hold your breath.  Until then, G-d bless you all.  Shalom!
